But the branch has to receive permission from the Lithuanian Accreditation Committee (pl. Litewska Komisja Akredytacyjna).

‘The requirements of Polish law for graduate studies are stricter in Lithuania. In order to obtain approval from The Polish Accreditation Committee we had to show that we have scientific achievements, that we organize different scientific conferences that in our branch are people, interested in undertaking courses leading to a master’s degree and the most important that we have appropriate stuff: 6 lecturers with professorial degree and 6 PhD in economics.’, said in the conversation with ‘Wilnoteka’ the dean of the Faculty of Economics and Informatics of the University of Białystok in Vilnius, prof.
