Ministry of Foreign Affairs from Republic of Poland reduced the money for the organizations which help Polish people who are in the East – we can read in “Gazeta Polska Codziennie”.

This year, The Foundation Aid to Poles in the East received from Ministry of Foreign Affairs only 6,32 million Polish zloty although they wanted to get, at least, 32 million Polish zloty. According to Foundation opinion it means that some projects will have to be eliminated.

This year the Ministry designed, as it was last year, 52,205 million Polish zloty to support Polish people abroad. MFA will give money to 97 projects which were chosen out of 418. The number of the applications explains why  the money for The Foundation Aid to Poles in the East and other organizations which help people in this region was reduced.
