Next Monday, another session of the political council of ruling coalition will be held. Waldemar Tomaszewski stated that he did not change his mind and AWPL still considers leaving the coalition.

The decision is supposed to be taken after Monday’s meeting. ‘We have not changed our mind. On Monday we will meet with the coalition partners and later on  the general council of the party will be called’ – said to DELFI Tomaszewski.

Tomaszewski informed that AWPL is dissatisfied not only with the budget. ‘There are many questions, not only about the budget’ – replied the leader of the party.

On Monday, after the session of the political council, Tomaszewski told journalists that he may leave the coalition because the partners had failed to keep their promises. The Prime Minister of Lithuania, Algirdas Butkevičius, suggested that it was a PR gimmick connected with  the approaching European Parliament election.
