Figure of Resurrected Jesus was consecrated

On All Saint’s Day (1st November) there was a holy mass for the souls of all the people resting on the cemetery in Juodšiliai. It was said by Bishop Jerzy Witkowski. But the mass deserves special attention, because the people present on it witnessed the consecration of the sculpture of Resurrected Jesus. The idea of placing the figure belongs to the headman of the Juodšiliai village, Tadeusz Aszkielaniec, who has done everything to realise the project. The sculpture was bought for means devoted by the Self-government of Vilnius region for the needs of local communities.
