Tamosiunaite and Trusewicz have applied for dismissal

The list of employees appealing for has been extended by four vice-ministers of education and three vice-ministers of culture. Among them, there are the representatives of the Polish Election Action in Lithuania( AWPL), Edita Tamosiunaite and Edward Trusewicz.

Vice-ministers handed  in their applications on Thursday. Friday is the last day of their work.

On Thursday, also vice-ministers of justice, economy, home affairs, social security and labour applied for dismissal. Earlier, such applications were handed in by vice-ministers of enironment and communication.

The leading coalition, criticised by the President Dalia Grybauskaite for its suspicious activities of some of the ministers, has decided that prior to the official dissolution of the government, all the ministers will be dismissed and the new cabinet will be recruiting the officials anew. Non-officially, it is known that the majority of the ministers will return to their previous posts.
