The Council endorsed the organizational models, the design was approved by the pre-primary social services plan
During the meeting of the Vilnius Region Government, which took place on 29 March were approved by the organizational models pre-school education for the school year 2013-2014.
In total will be 60 kindergarten groups. Pre-school education institutions have developed curricula of the characteristics of pre-school age children, assessing the needs of families with children of preschool age and needs of local communities, the need for self-realization of children, as well as the ability to support families and children.
Department of Education presented a draft, which sets deadlines for admission to mainstream schools Vilnius Region Government, the number of classes, and the average number of students in classes on the basis of general education programs implemented and the average number of groups of pre-school education, and the average number of children in these groups for the school year 2013-2014 .
The Council meeting also was developed by the Department of Social Welfare social services plan project of the Government of Vilnius for the year 2013. In 2013. its activities in the field of social services will continue to be continued: Child and family crisis centre in Kowalczukach, the home of social Podbrzeziu, the Centre of daily Living for people with disabilities in Nemenčinė, Czarnoborskiej Community Center, home of self-help “under one roof” in Wołczunach, as well as home care workers, specialists of the Faculty of Social Welfare and protection of children’s Rights Division Of Government Administration. Councillors unanimously approved a program to promote physical activity for general students of Vilnius region in 2013. Physical activity is an essential and indispensable part of a healthy lifestyle, positively affecting the health of the child, and later adult.
