Shoigu invited Lithuania to Moscow

Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu Russia invited the Lithuanian side at an international conference on defense policy, which will be held in Moscow.

Lithuanian Ministry of Defense announced that Lithuania will participate in the conference.

“The Ministry of Defence of Lithuania received an invitation to a conference of the Russian Defence Minister Shoigu and plans to take part in it” – written in response to the ministry.”

Given the wide range of issues raised at the conference, trying to identify those issues that are our most recent to select appropriate representatives “- marked the Ministry.

23 – 24 May in Moscow conference “Military and political aspects of European security.”

In a press release stated that the conference also invited the Secretary General of NATO Anders Fogh Rasmussen, the military ministers of the European Union countries, the defense ministers of CIS countries, Russian and international military experts and analytical.
