“Celebrity duets”: the very last place at the very beginning (Niemyćko’s first failure)

The first show of the singing competition “Celebrity duets” (“Žvaigždžių duetai“) which was judged by a jury ended up with a failure of Katarzyna Niemyćko’s duo.

First assessments were not favourable for Katarzyna. According to viewers’ votes, her duo ended up as the last one. When the viewers and judges’ votes were summed up, Katarzyna and Jonas’ duet could not change the score and remained on the last 8th place. The scores from the next show will be summed up with scores from the previous one. The duo which will take the last place will have to leave the show.

So far it is the 7th edition of the “Celebrity Duets.” Niemyćko sings a duet with Jonas Jonušas, one of the first members of the famous boys band “B’avarija.” The duet is supported by the girls from “Pop Ladies” band – Oksana Pikul and Liepa Modeikaitė. The quartet performed the song by Linas Adomaitis “Tavo spalvos” (“Your colours”).

Rosita Čivilytė and Agneta Gabalytė took first place.

Other contestants are: Inga Norkute-Žviniene and Adolfas Jarulis; mother and daughter – Rosita Čivilytė and Agneta Gabalytė; Tadas Rimgaila and Monika Linkyte; sisters Saulenė and Sandra Chlevickaitė; Radži’s fiancée Elena and Tautrimas Rupulevičius-Onsa; Andrulis and Stoskuviene; Krulikauskas and Julija.

Donatas Katkus, Merūnas Vitulskis, Laima Lapkauskaitė and Gediminas Zulus sit in the jury.
