“The best school. The best teacher.”“The best school. The best teacher.”

Traditionally, the Association of Polish Teachers in Lithuania “Macierz Szkolna” [Polish: Stowarzyszenie Nauczycieli Szkół Polskich na Litwie “Macierz Szkolna”] conducts the ranking of Polish schools in Vilnius Region.

After a careful analysis of the work results, the winners were chosen – the best schools and teachers form whole Vilnius Region.

This year’s 18th edition of the contest has selected A. Mickiewicz Upper-Secondary School in Vilnius in Vilnius, K. Parczewski Upper-Secondary School in Nemenčinė, St Casimir Comprehensive School in Medininkai, M. Baliński Comprehensive School in Jašiūnai, and the Upper-Secondary School in Rūdiškės as the best schools in Vilnius Region.

The evaluation criteria of the best schools included the number of points scored by students in Matura exams, the general number of taken national exams, the percentage of students who got into universities. This year a new criterion has been added to the evaluation system: the results between 90 and 100 points scored in exams

Here you can find the ranking.
