The Polish-Lithuanian nursery-kindergarten in Zavišonys to be renovated

This week, the renovation of the Polish-Lithuanian nursery-kindergarten “Dzwoneczek” (“The Tinker Bell”) in Zavišonys begins. It is financed by the LEADER program. The renovation will cost 390,000 litas, 10% of which will be provided by Šalčininkai District Municipality.

UAB “Jaraks” was awarded the contract to renovate “Dzwoneczek.”

The nursery-kindergarten in Zavišonys has been operating for over 30 years. It was opened in 1977 and has not been renovated since then; that is why the management of “Dzwoneczek” filed a request to the Šalčininkai Local Action Group for co-financing the renovation.

The renovation will include putting in wall insulation, as well as replacing windows and doors. It is to be completed until the end of the year.
