Yesterday, on December 27th, the final of a competition “Metro Rock Battle” took place. The winner was a punk group “Will’N’Ska,” in which Poles play. The prize is 2 thousand litas.

“When we received the prize for the first place, we understood that a year of playing together is a good result. We see that we have a lot of fans, who are truly crazy in a very positive sense of the word” – said Ernest Tylibgo, filled with happiness one of the leaders of the band and its guitar player, in an interview for zw.lt.

The prize will be fully spent on studio recordings. “We want to record a few tunes” – added Ernest. The band has been playing for over a year now and they have already sung songs in Polish, Lithuanian and Russian.

There were three other bands taking part in the competition: “Saprophytes” – playing gothic metal, coming from Podbrodz, but recently moved to Vilnius, “Chasing The Rise” – hard core and “Liver”, playing progressive rock. It’s worth to mention that all of these three bands, as for Lithuanian underground, played on a very decent level.
