Artistic achievements of students of the School of Music in Nemenčinė

The Lithuanian Music Festival, The Chamber Music Groups of Fine Arts and The Soloists “Day with Lithuanian Art” Festival 

The Lithuanian Music Festival, The Chamber Music Groups of Fine Arts “Day with Lithuanian Art” Festival was held on 20th April in the School of Music in Karolinki. The students of the School of Music in Nemenčinė, Anastasija Karšukaitė alongside Tomas Gužauskas (led by their teachers: R. Neverovas and T. Burlakova), put on an outstanding performance, delighting the audience with “Etiuda melodyjna” (“Melodic Étude”) and the Lithuanian dance „Klumpakojis”. Congratulations!

The laureates of the 1st Republican String Instrument Contest

In April the 1st Republican String Instrument Contest “Szał strun” (“Strings in a fury”) was held, during which Emilia Trybocka and Władysława Perwejnis (led by their teachers: V. Ancienė and L. Kornewa) amazed spectators with their excellent performance and became laureates of the contest. Furthermore, their instrumental duet was highly valued and assessed in the International Young Performers Contest “Bursztynowa Nuta 2013” (“The Amber Note 2013”), which was held in the V. Mikalauskas School of Fine Arts in Panevėžys. This splendid performance of both girls earned them diplomas. Congratulations!

Another competition took place in the B. Dvarionas Vilnius School of Music – The Young Pianists contest “Musica amabile”.

On 2nd and 3rd May The Young Pianists contest “Musica amabile” was held in the B. Dvarionas Vilnius School of Music. Julian Germanowicz, a student of the School of Music in Nemenčinė, did very well in this contest, came in second and became a laureate of the competition. He was also awarded with a special diploma for the best performance of a polyphonic piece of music and received a financial award, established by the bookshop “VAGA”. Julian was guided and assisted by his teacher, Tatiana Burlakova. Congratulations!

The Republican Children and Youth Contest-Festival “W wirze dźwięków” (“In the whirl of sounds”)

On 9th May The Republican Children and Youth Contest-Festival “W wirze dźwięków” (“In the whirl of sounds”) was held in the School of Fine Arts in Ukmergė. The vocal group of the School of Music in Nemenčinė (led by Ramūnas Juknevičius) became a laureate of this contest.

We want to extend our best wishes to the all performers – may they perform even better and may they receive numerous awards in the future contests and festivals! Good luck!
