Literary Wednesdays in Adam Mickiewicz Museum in Vilnius

@ DELFI

In Adam Mickiewicz Museum attached to the Vilnius University Library, ‘Literary Wednesdays’ will be organized in 2013. The topics of the Wednesdays in the current years will relate to the Philomaths and the Filaret Association due to the celebration of the 200th anniversary of creation of the Philomath Society on the 1st October 2017.

The series of literary meetings starts in February. The first one will take place on the 13th February and will be devoted to Onufry Pietraszkiewicz. The lecture will be delivered by Vida Girininkienė and Rimantas Šalna will held the meeting.

‘We invite all interested in organizing the Literary Wednesdays. By putting forward your own topic, you can contribute to the expansion of this project. The topic raised during the Literary Wednesday has to relate to the Romantic era or a famous author somehow’ – wrote in a special announcement Rimantas Šalna, head of the Museum.
