The Polish Engineering Junior High School named after Joachim Lelewel in Vilnius was on the list of the best schools. The local students achieved the highest result in the Lithuanian language matriculation examination.

Last year this junior high school was ranked 170th. It is the only Polish school in this category.

The editors of “Reitingai” inform that the overall results of this year’s matriculation examination are weaker compared to previous years.

It is worth emphasizing that three Polish schools improved their mathematics exam results. The top 50 included Junior High School named after Szymon Konarski in Vilnius, Junior High School in Rukainiai and Junior High School named after Fr. Józef Obrembski in Maisiagala.

Moreover, Polish educational institutions fared best in terms of the results in the Russian language.

Taking into account schools with the Polish language of instruction, St. John Paul II Junior High School in Vilnius has been listed six times.
