The fourth deputy minister of culture commenced her duties

The fourth deputy minister of culture, composer Zita Bružaitė begins her work in the ministry. She will be responsible for the issues related to national minority policy, ethnic culture and intangible heritage, as well as cooperation with local governments in the field of cultural policy.

Before taking the office, Bružaitė said she was thoroughly assessing the possibility of enforcing ambitious plans just six months before the Seimas elections.

She noted that she would take action to resolve the most pressing problems.
