Adamkus: I hope that Duda’s visit will liven up the relations of both countries

“I can proudly say that cooperation between Poland and Lithuania in my days was exemplary, one could call it a golden age, unfortunately it is different now” – said former Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus.

The Guest of the Political Salon added that many of his initiatives of Polish-Lithuanian cooperation were ignored. Valdas Adamkus said that he hopes that the recent visit of Poland’s President Andrzej Duda in Lithuania will liven up the relations of both countries, however we will see how eventually it will turn out in practice.
