Šimašius: Kaczyński Street in two languages

“In all probability, Lech Kaczyński Street will be available in two versions – Polish and Lithuanian” – says Vilnius Mayor, Remigijus Šimašius.

The Guest of the Political Salon added that he is planning to consult the institutions regarding the name of Kaczyński Street today.

There are plans to name the street by February 16, when the visit of the Polish President Andrzej Duda to Lithuania is planned.

“This symbolism is important, it would be beautiful if it succeeded, but on the other hand it is equally important that it be dealt with legally and reliably” – said Remigijus Šimašius.
