The Holiday of Family in Marijampolis: Fun in the scenic Palisada Park

The holiday started with open-air Holy Mass. After the celebration, there was a concert on the scene in old picturesque Palisada park. The local bands and artists as well as children from the early classes of Primary School in Marijampolis, children from kindergarten as well as the guests from the friendly municipality of Białe Błota in Poland and artists from other areas in Vilnius district appeared on the scene. One could go for a buckboard ride, paint his or her face or eat something. In the evening, the bonfire was lit and the disco started. It finished only late at night. This is the seventh time that the holiday of the community from Marijampolis municipality has taken place.
