Bronisław Komorowski presentst Lithuania with his family heirlooms

During the last days of his presidency, Bronisław Komorowski presented Lithuania with documents concerning his grandparents’ land in Auksztota and works of the Polish artist who lived in Żmudź.

The Second Secretary of Lithuanian embassy in Warsaw Minijus Samuila said that those documents are copies and originals of maps and plans of manor house buildings.

Among the family documents there was a photo of Komorowski’s grandfather and advertisements of the confectionery factory which was near Rokiškis. The former President of Poland also gave Lithuania drawings of Józef Perkowski who lived in Żmudź.

Komorowski’s parents Zygmunt Leon Komorowski and Jadwiga Komorowska are from Auksztota.
