Participants of the ‘Radio Eaters’ School 6 ZW FUN’ contest visited offices of ‘Znad Wilii’ Radio

As part of the ongoing contest ‘Radio Eaters’ School 6 ZW FUN’, offices of ‘Znad Willi’ Radio were visited by future adepts of journalism, who will be creating the first professional youth radio in Lithuania.

During the short trip, director of the Radio and founder of the contest, Mirosław Juchniewicz, spoke about the history of the radio station to the participants. Music director Marius Pileckis and presenter Kamil Zalewski introduced the youth to the equipment, as well as explained the rules of radio operations. Participants of the contest also had the opportunity to record their voices.

This year’s edition of Radio Eaters is exceptional, because it is the participants themselves that will have the opportunity to create the dream radio ZW FUN!

Before May 25th participants should submit the competition project of ‘ZW FUN’ radio, including the broadcasting programming of ZW FUN, as well as the concept of youth website.
The results will be announced on June 9th 2015 on the ‘Znad Willi’ Radio and the information portal zw.lt.

At the turn of August and September the competition’s winners will undergo vocational training in equipment handling, voice emission and diction, and then… ZW FUN radio will start broadcasting!

Students of 8 schools of Vilnius and the Vilnius Region have applied to take part in the ‘Radio-eaters’ school’ competition.
