AWPL: We are indeed a trustworthy partner
Renata Cytacka’s re-nomination for the office of vice-minister of energetics dealt a serious blow to the leading coalition.
PM threatened to dismiss Jarosław Niewiarowicz, AWPL assuring to remain a reliable partner.
” Lithuanian Poles Electoral Action(LPEA/AWPL) states that the leading coalition works in a stable way, in accordance with the coalition agreement signed in November 2012. None of the parties involved in the coalition has acted against the coalition agreement’s objectives, moreover, Lithuanian Poles Electoral Action- a part of the leading coalition is thought to be one of the most trustworthy partners, always meeting the coalition’s commitments and voting according to the previously reached agreement between the coalition’s members”- informed press agency of AWPL( LPEA).
Butkevicius will appeal to the President for Niewierowicz’s dismissal
PM has criticised Cytacka few times for her alleged lack of qualifications. Nevertheless, today, shortly before his vacation, minister of energetics Jarosław Niewiarowicz appointed Cytacka for vice-minister’s office.
Tomorrow, PM plans to appeal to the President for minister of energetics’ removal. Office of the President of the Republic of Lithuania stated they would take their stand after having received a paper from PM.
