Rudomino School of Arts (pl. Szkoła Sztuk Pięknych w Rudominie ) ended its 10th year. An anniversary concert took place in Polish Cultural Center  in Vilnius. At the concert were performing present students, school alumni and teachers.

Rudomino School of Arts was founded in 2003. It is the only musical-artistic school, opened on Lithuania since its independence. Initially it was located at F. Ruszczyc Gymnasium in Rudomino. In 2008 the representative office moved to the building, which was renewed by Vilnius District Municipality (pl. Samorząd Rejonu Wileńskiego, lit. Vilniaus rajono savivaldybė ).

The first teachers who started to work with capable and talanted children are Bogdan Wojcinowicz, Oksana Tuniewicz i Jolanta Grabštunovičienė Now about 23 teachers work at school. At the moment more than 200 students are receiving musical and artistic education at Rudomino School of Arts. The most numerous is the musical class, which has such sections: piano, accordion, brass instruments, woodwind instruments, string instruments, choirs and theory. The artistic class has been operating at school for a few years.

At Rudomino School of Arts are studing children not only from this locality, but also from Niemież, Skojdziszki, Mariampol,Czarny Bór, Wołczun, and even from Turgiele.

Students of Rudomino School of Arts participate in state and international festivals and competitions, obtain diplomas and awards. 68 students graduated from school during 10 years. A few students continue musical studies on Lithuania. 2 alumni of artistic class are now the students of Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk (pl. Akademia Sztuk Pięknych w Gdańsku).

An anniversary concert in Polish Cultural Center in Vilnius was really challenging for students and teachers of Rudomino School of Arts. “We were thinking how it would be when we will bring our children to Vilnius, whether they will manage to perform on the unknown to them stage, whether the audience will come. And it was worth it. The hall was filled with people and our kids did their bests”, said the director of Jerzy Krupiczewicz.

Soloists, 2 choirs, orchestra of woodwind instruments and orchestra of accordion were performing on the anniversary concert. The members of the orchestra of accordion were present students as well as graduated ones.
