Polish language Lovers Club in Lithuania

22 April 2013 in UWW in Kaunas, Lithuania held a ceremonial opening of the Club’s fans of the Polish language and Polish culture A. Mickiewicz. In the opening took part Dr. Margaret Kasner, Director of the Polish Institute in Vilnius, one of the main partners of the Institute of foreign languages UWW. Ms. m. Kasner in his speech stressed the importance of the Club, as well as the great importance of foreign language in today’s society. With the opening of the Lithuanian team took care of the musical setting of the University Edukologicznego Evviva L’arte.

During the meeting there was presented a new academic organization, were discussed her visions and lines of action, as well as the possibility of study and internships in Poland. Mindaugas Norkevičius, one of the main initiators and organizers of the pointed out the Club’s task will be to popularize the Polish language and Polish culture, uniting people interested in Polish language and Polish culture, information about the Polish cultural events, literary, artistic, associated with Polish tradition and about the possibilities of studying in Poland.

In the nearest plans of the Club is a visit study to Warsaw, Polish film festival, Polish dance lessons and trips to places associated with Polish culture in Lithuania.
