Portal L24.lt in four languages

The presentation of the new portal L24.lt took place in the Polish Community Center in Vilnius on 24th of April. 

It is a social and informative portal in four languages. Its goal is to efficiently circulate information in Polish, Lithuanian, Russian and English to a broad circle of users.

Beata Naniewicz, Gintare Pugaciauskaite, Anastasija Pismenikowa, Теresa Worobiej, Zdzisław Palewicz (junior) and Paweł Kobak are a part of the editorial staff. Wiktor Jusiel is the director of the portal.

„Portal L24.lt was formed in order to facilitate an access to credible and comprehensive information. Portal’s task is to deliver information about the newest events and facts from the everyday life of Lithuania and the world in an efficient and precise manner.” The portal’s director said.

Wiktor Jusiel emphasised that on the editorial team there are people curious about the world and others.

Seizing the opportunity, guests wished all the best to the L24.lt team.

„I wish you perseverance and strenght to continue this hard work. Remember that cirticism hurts but is also inspiring and motivating. I wish you good luck!” the leader of Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania, member of European Parliament Waldemar Tomaszewski said.

During the official presentation of the portal priest Józef  Aszkiełowicz blessed the guests. The fellow journalists from „Kurier Wileński”, „Tygodnik Wileńszczyzny”, Radio Znad Wilii, monthly magazine „Magazyn Wileński”, portal „Wilnoteka”, portal DELFI.pl, chatholic newspaper „Spotkania”, Polish team from Lithuanian radio all gave their best wishes to the new portal.

A counsel-minister, consul-general, director of consular department in Embassy of Poland in Vilnius Stanisław Cygnarowski, leader of ZPL, member of the Sejmas Michał Mackiewicz, starost and deputy starost of AWPL in the Sejmas Rita Tamasunien? i Wanda Krawczonok, mayor of the local government in Vilnius District Maria Rekść and mayor of the local government in Salcininkai District  Zdzisław Palewicz also expressed their well wished to the creators of the new media initiative.
