– “The Forum of Young Musicians European States” is not a competition or festival – says the director of the School of Fine Arts in Rudamina George Krupiczewicz. – We are not concerned here with the emergence of winners. Forum – this communion, the communion through music. And since we’ve managed to meet close friends, so the more we enjoy the meeting.
The idea of ”wandering” the Forum was literally a year ago at “Young Musicians” in Warsaw, where students from the School of Fine Arts Rudomińskiej participated for the first time at the invitation of the State General Education School of Music I and II grade No. 3 for them. Grazyna Bacewicz in Warsaw. “Wandering” forum like this one bit managers bands of Polish, German, Belgian, so this year it was Lithuania, namely Rudomina, is hosting the music festival. The following year, the host has reserved for himself Belgium, which this year also introduced its arrival to Lithuania, but unfortunately, the young Belgian musicians at the last minute could not come.
– German friends have suggested that children participating in the forum would be able to live in families from Lithuania, to the idea of associating remained in the realm of ideas, but that children really talk with each other and met each other. With such contacts are born later sincere friendships. Unfortunately, some have not managed to attain this the last button, but further meetings with us will be just that – close – says Jerzy Krupiczewicz.
In addition to the above-mentioned National Team General Education Schools of Music I and II grade No. 3 for them. Grazyna Bacewicz in Warsaw in the “Forum of Young Musicians European Countries” in Rudamina also attended by young performers from the School of Music No. 1. Karol Szymanowski in. Rzeszow on a map of trips abroad surviving children of Rudomina stands as No. 1, from him in 2010 began the cooperation. Already in Poland were also established contacts with Dithmarscher Musikschule in Heide in Germany and Belgian colleagues.
On Friday, April 12, will see the official opening of the Forum, which announced its participation Edita Tamošiūnaitė Minister of Education and local authorities Vilnius region. The hosts and guests will present a concert that followed-will be even the next day, but it will be on the Department of Fine Arts at the College of Vilnius.
– In general, a lot is happening in our country, we have no time to rest – says the director of the School of Fine Arts in Rudamina. For it to have something to be proud, even though the school is relatively young: this year will be celebrating its first anniversary of the 10th anniversary. And started with 10 years ago rather modestly – without own premises, for at that time the High School. Ferdinand Ruszczyc, with three classes – piano, accordion and violin. But for the young, vigorous and ambitious is not an obstacle.
Gradually, the school took on weight. In 2007, the government’s efforts Vilnius region with the help of funding from the “Polish Community” started renovating the old kindergarten building, which before the war had been built under the project of Jozef Pilsudski “One thousand schools for Vilnius”. At the beginning of 2008 there was a grand opening of the School of Fine Arts in Rudamina, and it took the director’s George Krupiczewicz. Today, the school can be proud of their students, which is 205 The vast majority, about 160, it comes to music classes, 45 students – including classes in visual arts. The existing music classes there was also learning to play the clarinet, saxophone, flute and – dream boy – the guitar. The school has a choir of junior and senior classes, accordion band, wind ensemble and string ensemble. In the latter learns to play the violin alone, nine boys aged 8-10 years.
— We have probably the youngest collective of teachers compared with other schools. – laughs the Director. All teachers have university degrees. We are teaching in two languages: Polish and Lithuanian. Commute to our children from the nearby Turgiel and Vilnius. With this, the last Council local government area of Vilnius has decided to include the teaching of school children from the area just in Vilnius. By the way, in this area there are music schools in Niemenczyn and Pogirach.
Although only 10 years of existence, the school has already spawned its own traditions. Soon after the 4th time will participate in the third Republican Children’s Choir Festival “you, Mommy.” All year round, in all seasons the school organizes festivals and competitions: Festival-Competition Accordionists’ Autumn Cascade ‘Piano Music Festival “The work of Polish composers’ Festival of Wind Instruments” trembling Spring “Violin Music Festival” The rhythm of dance from ancient times to the today “.
But the greatest achievement of the school are the students who are already enjoying enormous success of his first internationally. Director talks about them proudly, “our children” and not to be groundless boasting and place that the International Competition for Accordionists in Vilnius among participants from 10 countries, won the Academy of Fine Arts students in Rudamina – Kristina Bernadickaitė (violin) and Konrad Dowgiert (accordion). Kristina prepared to perform teacher Lina Šernienė, Konrad – Bogdan Wojcinowicz. Anyway exchange awards winners and their teachers could go on.
– When the government last year, the Vilnius region was characterized by all gifted children Vilnius region – the most awards garnered our school musical – director notes with satisfaction.
