A heart for a heart – appeal for help

@ Kurier Wilenski

It is said that money does not bring happiness and that health cannot be bought for money. However, these words can be easily denied.

12-year-old Czesia Czernuszewicz from the village Nowy Dwór (dajnowski district) is awaiting for the gift of a new life. And for her it can be expressed with money, to be exact – nearly 400 thousand litas that are necessary for a heart transplant. Currently our compatriot is in a hospital in France where the disease determines her life span. Czesia suffers from a serious heart disease – idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy – and she needs to have a heart transplant as quickly as possible. The French doctors could perform the operation in March; all we need is the money…

Czesia’s parents – Czesława and Henryk Czernuszewicz realize that the costs of the operation for their daughter extend beyond their financial capabilities but they believe that good people will support them in the fight for her life. Any payment is significant.

Šalčininkai district municipality appeals to the entrepreneurs, directors of institutions, all the  district dwellers and all people of good will for help to Czesia Czernuszewicz.

Here is the bank account that you can deposit money into:

Swedbank LT987300010019407701 Česlava Černuševič.

We thank you for your help and wish you good health!
