Bolesław Daszkiewicz

“We will not remove the signs with the names of streets in Polish, we are going to appeal against the decision of the District Administrative Court to the superior court” – said the guest of our “SP”, the director of administration of the Šalčininkai district municipality Bolesław Daszkiewicz.

Daszkiewicz added that signs with the names of streets in Polish have been in the Šalčininkai district municipality for a long time and the inhabitants of the district municipality think they have right to them – because this is guaranteed by the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities which Lithuania ratified.
