The 15th anniversary of „Mejszagolanki”

Vocal team „Mejszagolanki” from Mejszagoły is celebrating the 15th anniversary. They are going to have a concert on February 2, 2013 at 2 pm in a Community Centre in Mejszagole.

During the concert the band will present their folk and patriotic songs as well as author’s, convivial and stage songs. Moreover, there will be also displayed the history of the team.

There will be performs of different teams: „Czarne maki” from Jawniun, „Moderato” choir from Mejszagoły and also a concert given by the teenagers from comprehensive school named Father Józef Obremobski from Mejszagoły. Old members of the band (Mejszagolanki), who belonged to the team for some period of time, are also invited. For the audience there are prepared some nice surprises.

Now the team „Mejszagolanki” consists of eight woman. Singing is the passion for them, they do what they love. Thanks to that they spend free time in a nice way and, what is more, they make others happy. Jasia Mackiewicz is the manager of the band.

„Mejszagolanki” participate in many concerts and festivals. They also take part in competitions. Some time ago, the team won the title of a laureate in a national competition “Z serca do serca”, they took part in a competition “Głosy Sziłale”, and were nominated to “The Vocal team of the Year 2011” in an annually summary of the most important events from Vilnius region.

„Mejszagolanki” ended the year 2012 with a show in a television during the second edition of the „Piłsudski pamięcią przyzywa” programme.

The year 20113 is going to be both hard-working and interesting. In January the team gave a Carols’ concert. Now they are prepared for their anniversary party.
