During the session of the council of the self-government of the Vilnius District Municipality on 21st December the changes in the budget were introduced: a part of earmarked funds were allocated.
At the session the previous deputy director for administration of the self-government of the Vilnius District Municipality Władysław Kondratowicz was dismissed. He is going to be nominated to serve as the undersecretary for communications. Councilors unanimously appointed young and energetic Albert Narwojsz, the MSc in Computer Engineering, to the position of the deputy director.
W. Kondratowicz thanked everyone for placing confidence in him several years ago. He also emphasized that the work in the self-government was apriceless experience for him. The newly-appointed A. Narwojsz pointed out:”I would like to express my gratitude for placing your confidence in me and I believe I won’t betray your trust”.
After consideration of all matters on the agenda the mayor Maria Rekść handed a cup and a commemorative diploma to the prefect of Kowalczuki Krystyna Gierasimowicz, because Kowalczuki was regarded as the most sports community of the Vilnius District Municipality in 2012.
Because the session of the council was held the day before Christmas, the self-government was visited by the priest Andrzej Byliński who emphasized in his speech the meaning of love sharing not only during the Christmastime. The priest also consecrated Christmas wafers which the big family of the self-government’s representatives shared with. The attendees watched the performances of the participants of the Day Care Centre of the Disabled in Niemczyn, the band “Randeo anima” from Podbrzezie and the duet from Rudomin under J. Królikowski’s direction.
