Cytacka has officially become the vice-minister of energy

Since Friday (December 28th) Renata Cytacka has been officially working as the vice-minister of energy. She has been already approved by Lithuanian intelligence agencies.

Jarosław Niewierowicz, the minister of energy, has confirmed the information for BNS. The adviser to the minister of energy, Daiva Rimašauskaitė, says that the remaining vice-ministers are still being checked by intelligence agencies.

Renata Cytacka has an MA degree in law. In 1998 she graduated from the University of Gdańsk. In years 2003-2006 she worked as the adviser to the mayor of Šalčininkai district municipality. Since 2006 she has been the secretary of Vilnius district municipality.

Renata Cytacka has also been active in the Association of Polish-Schooling Parents in Lithuania, and she has eagerly participated in the protests concerning the changes in the Education Bill.

The Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania is a member of the ruling coalition. According to previous agreements, the EAPL has delegated one of its members, Jarosław Niewierowicz, to the position of minister of energy. Moreover, the EAPL has received five vice-ministries in different departments.

Thus, Renata Cytacka, the secretary of Vilnius district municipality, has become the vice-minister of energy. Władysław Kondratowicz, the deputy head of the administration of Vilnius district municipality, has become the vice-minister of communications. Edyta Tamošiūnaitė, the vice-head of the administration of Vilnius city municipality, has become the vice-minister of education. Also, Leokadia Poczykowska has become the vice-minister of agriculture, and Edward Trusewicz, the secretary of the Association of Poles in Lithuania, has become the vice-minister of culture.
