Katarzyna Niemyćko is first for the first time. Katarzyna Niemyćko’s comment.
Katarzyna Niemyćko and her partner Dainius Dimša for the first time had the first place in a dance show “Welcome to the dance” („Kviečiu šokti“). The theme of the edition was a fairytale. Katarzyna and Dainius danced “The Ugly Duckling”.
Katarzyna’s slow waltz charmed the jurors who, once again, gave the highest ratings and the audience was applauding the dance for a long time. The director, Vytenis Pauliuakitis, gave the pair additional points.
After summarizing the votes of the commission and televiewers Katarzyna Niemyćko and Dainius Dimša finally took the first place they had dreamt of. We would like to remind that the pair finished two episodes on the third place and in the remaining ones, they were the second pair.
Katarzyna’s most serious competitor, Kristina Navickaitė-Tina, was sixth in that episode.
Liepa Mondeikaitė and Audrius Židonis had to say goodbye to the show.
The transmission of the episode began simultaneously with the beginning of couting the votes in parliamentary election. During the improvised tele-bridges politician Rolandas Paksas promised Rūtie Mikelkevičiūtė, who is the host of the dance show, that he would dance Pasodoble with her and the leader of The Liberal Movement, Eligijus Masiulis, promised her a dance, too.
Katarzyna Niemyćko’s commentary:
“I am really, really happy. I have never expected such results, I am very critical to myself. I am on cloud nine. We have received many compliments, but what moved me the most was the audience, who gave us standing ovation for the first time.” – said Katarzyna in her interview with PL DELFI.
The singer was thanking her partner and the choreographers for “squeezing out all juices”.
Niemyćko emphasized that she is a Pole and in the parliamentary election she voted for her compatriots. “It is a double joy. I was first in the show and AWPL went beyond the electoral threshold and get to the Seym. I am really happy about that.”- she added.
