Electoral convention of EAPL.
It is said politics were dirty but it is also known that it was a holy thing and everything was in our hands said priest Tadeusz Jasinski to all participants of Convention of EAPL during the holy mass at Vilnius church under the name of Assumption of Mary.
Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania started its campaign from a prayer. Chairman of EAPL, deputy of European Parliament Mrs. Waldemar Tomaszewski said on Saturday during the convention that we have Christian values as first. Maybe that’s why honored priest of Vlinius Jozef Aszkielowicz while blessing the keywords of EAPL said you will win we will win all of us will win with that also church will win.
EAPL has already won during the campaign, most of 1 percent of income tax for the political parties got EAPL. 9539 of citizens gave their 1 percent of income tax for the EAPL, this party also wan with the biggest Lithuanian Parties.
For upcoming elections which will have its place on October 14th EAPL is going with keywords as: for justice for freedom yours and ours and in Unity we are strong. This year election EAPL has representatives from 30 native minorities organizations. For example, Poles, Lithuanians, Russians, Belarusians, Tatars etc. Also, there are two representatives of Russian Alians and Lithuanian Agrarian party. EAPL as one from few presented full list of 141 candidates. Moreover, 39 candidates of EAPL are starting from first pass the post voting in whole Lithuania. Except Vilnius region representatives of EAPL and its Coalitions fight for Govermental’s seat in Klejpada, Druskienniki, Malaty, Jeziorosy, Kowno and its region, Janow, Wilkomierze, Szawly, Kielmachy.
As said Laimutė Burbienė from Kurier In Kielm, Lithuania is in a dramatic situation and they are made to emigrated from the country. Lithuania loses their population, at schools there are less students and government closes the schools. All of us just cannot stay and watch what is going on with the country. We have to go and vote for EAPL. Also this Campaign is not going to be easy one.
The same said chairman of Companionship of Belarus’ language in the name of Franciszek Skaryna Ms. Marija Matusewicz.
Representative of Belarus Society believes that tragedy for Lithuania will happen if today’s government will be still a government after the election.
