Vida Montvydaitė: the government has come round to seeing the need for the Department of National Minorities

“We assemble our team and we resolve organizational issues” says the Director of the Department of National Minorities Vida Montvydaitė.

The guest of today’s Political Lounge (Salon Polityczny) added that the Department of National Minorities had been reinstated after 5 years mainly thanks to efforts of various organisations of national communities. “The government has come round to seeing the need for the Department of National Minorities because there is a lack of coordination of activities and absence of a consistent policy on national minorities”, says Montvydaitė.
