According to most of the citizens Lithuania does not obey human rights

According to public opinion poll, a bit over half of the citizens say that their rights are not provided.

Asked if Lithuania obeys human rights, 9% of people answered yes, 40% sort of, 16% no, 35% rather not.

Chairman of the Council of the Lithuanian Bar Association Ignas Vėgėlė said that the poll is not shocking, but it is a yellow card for the system. According to data, 58% of people think that there is no equality between citizens and law.

Corruption scandals are the evidence. Lithuanian legal systems has troubles with applying its’ law. People realize that acts are alike, but are used in different ways towards different people.
