STATEMENT OF THE MAIN BOARD OF THE ASSOCIATION OF POLES IN LITHUANIA

In the wake of Russia’s military invasion of Ukraine, the Association of Poles in Lithuania expresses its support for our compatriots and all residents of Ukraine. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, and we experience these difficult moments together.

The Association of Poles in Lithuania condemns the actions of the Kremlin. War has never been and will never be a method of conflict resolution, and there is no justification for it, even in a situation where the rights of compatriots in other countries are concerned.

We call for the intensification of all measures to protect civilians and for continued efforts to ensure peace. We urge you to participate in the Rosary Novena for the restoration of peace in Ukraine and to pray for peace in Europe and throughout the world.
