Urbanowicz: Differentiation of Lithuanian language teaching in Polish and Lithuanian schools is being considered

“Students of Polish schools in Lithuania will officially be able to use textbooks published in Poland” – said Jolanta Urbanowicz, deputy minister of education, science and sport.

A guest of the Political Salon added that efforts are being made to ensure that the result of the Polish language and literature exam is valid when entering university. The deputy minister also expressed hope that the period of relief for non-Lithuanian high school graduates when taking the Lithuanian language exam will be extended.

Jolanta Urbanowicz also said that there are plans to diversify the curriculum of this subject for Lithuanian and non-Lithuanian schools.
