Bielinis: Grybauskaitė did not contribute to solving the problems of the Polish minority

The presenting of the Order of the White Eagle to President Grybauskaite is a symbolic gesture for further improvement of relations between Poland and Lithuania – believes Lauras Bielinis, political scientist from the Vytautas Magnus University of Kaunas.

Guest of the Political Salon admitted that Grybauskaitė did not contribute to solving the problems of the Polish national minority during the two terms of office of the president.

“The awarding of the Order of the White Eagle is in a way a decoration of the Lithuanian state, and not specifically President Grybauskaitė”, said the political scientist.
