Liudkovski: The issue of Polish studies in Vilnius is still not totally solved

“We managed to resolve the issue of the transformation of the Vilnius Simonas Konarskis School into an extended secondary school and maintained the continuity of the recruitment for Polish studies at the Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences in Vilnius” – stressed Artur Liudkovski, advisor to the Prime Minister and Vilnius Councillor. At the same time, the guest of our “Salon Polityczny” admitted that the further fate of Polish studies is still not clear.

Artur Liudkovski added that there are proposals for reopening the Polish-Lithuanian Interdepartmental Commission for Education. This subject will be addressed during the visit of the Polish Minister of National Education, which is planned for September.
