Meeting of Polish and Lithuanian experts on cultural heritage in Vilnius

On the 16th – 19th of May meeting of expert group on protecting cultural heritage will take place. It is going to be 10th meeting which will be chaired by deputy ministers of culture from Poland and Lithuania: Jarosław Sellin and Renaldas Augustinavičius.

Polish-Lithuanian expert group on preserving cultural heritage coordinates ‘agreement on cooperation between authorized representatives of the Governments in the area of protection of cultural heritage’ signed on 16th of December 1999 in Warsaw. The document is base of Polish-Lithuanian cooperation in the area of protecting cultural heritage.

Experts deliberate in every country. Meetings are chaired by deputy ministers of culture. Previous, 9th meeting took place in June 2016 in Gdańsk.
