Polish stall on the International Christmas Charity Bazaar

This Saturday, on December 3rd, Vilnius Town Hall will hold the International Christmas Charity Bazaar.

The Bazaar is organised by the members of the International Women’s Association of Vilnius (IWAV) – mainly female diplomats, diplomats’ wives and businesswomen. As every year, the Polish Embassy in Vilnius will have its own stall.

The Bazaar associates various non-governmental organisations and embassies. It is an excellent opportunity to present the local products. We also show handicraft items and the art of Polish artists. All raised money will be destined for a good cause – this year we will support orphanages, a nursing home care, a children’s hospital and a home for the elderly – says Maria Ślebioda, Polish Deputy Ambassador to Lithuania.

Thanks to Polish sponsors, visitors will be able to buy Polish cosmetics, groceries, sweets and Christmas decorations. This year, the International Women’s Association wants to support 10 social organisations, among others the Hospital of Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, Mother Teresa’s family home and the Foundation “Vilties Namai”
