Bogusław Grużewski Nominated for the Lithuanian National Prize

The National Equality and Diversity Awards will be handed on Monday, at the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Hall in Vilnius. The director of the Institute of Labor and Social Research, Bogusław Grużewski is nominated in the Cross-Cultural Dialogue category.

The award-giving ceremony, which is organized by the Service Inspector for Equal Opportunities and National Equality and Diversity Forum, will be held for the third time.

115 candidates were admitted for the award, from whom the committee chose three nominees.

Bogusław Grużewski is nominated in the Cross-Cultural Dialogue category, for nurturing the nations’ dialogue and the development of the relationship with Poles living in Lithuania and with Poland. A social initiative, “I will Accept a Refugee” and “Blended family” project are also nominated in the same category.

The awards will be handed also in such categories as: Gender Equality, Rainbow Appreciation, Golden Age, Overcoming Obstacles, Breakthrough of the Year, Journalist of the Year.
