The letter of the speaker of the Polish Parliament to fellow citizens in Vilnius Region

Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, the speaker of the Polish Parliament sent a letter to Waldemar Tomaszewski, the leader of AWPL, in which she thanked for congratulations and wishes for entrusting her the function of the speaker of the Polish Parliament.

Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, ensured the leader of AWPL that the situation of the Polish minority in Lithuania in the past and nowadays is in the limelight of Polish authorities.

‘The situation of Poles in Lithuania has always been in the limelight of Polish authorities and it invariably was and is the object of concern and care of both Parliament chambers – as we read in the letter of the speaker. Kidawa-Błońska ensured W. Tomaszewski that as a leader of Parliament she’ll support strivings of the Polish community in Lithuania.

‘I wish to assure you that – being loyal to the tradition – I’ll support any undertakings and initiatives on behalf of the Polish community in Lithuania and I’m going to provide them with the desired support’ – ensures Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, the speaker of the Polish Parliament.
