The jury (Kapituła Plebiscytu) consisting of the people who had already won the “Polish Man of the Year” title chose 10 best candidats from 30 candidatures submitted by the readers, Walenty Wojniłło, journalist of Wilnoteka among them.
“Kurier Wileński” has been organizing the plebiscite for 17 years. The voting process involves cutting out special counterfoils from the newspaper (copying not allowed) and sending them to “Kurier Wileński” office. The candidate with the biggest amount of votes wins. The results will be published in January 2015.
