In the Consociation „Polish Media In Lithuania”
On Thursday, 14th November, the next meeting of the Consociation “The Polish Media in Lithuania” took place. The chairman of the EAPL, the MEP Waldemar Tomaszewski, took part in the deliberation.
The basic subject of deliberation was the issue of cooperation with Lithuanian public institutions dealing with supporting the mass media. The results of the conference “The Polish media in the East”, which took place in September this year in the Senate of the RP, and the organizational issues of the Consociation have been also discussed. The consociation “The Polish media in Lithuania” has been constituted in May this year. The new Polish organization connects editorial staffs of the leading Polish media in Lithuania: Vilnius Album, Vilnius Courier, Vilnius Magazine, Our Journal, L24 Portal, The Radio of Wilia, Meetings, Vilnius Region Weekly, Vilniuscase.
