Niemyćko in the superfinal

Katarzyna Niemyćko is in another final. Last year she was in the final of a dance contest, this year she will compete for the gold microphone of the singing competition „Duets of stars” („Zvaigzdziu duetu“) as a part of the ‘duet’ Jonas and „Pop Ladies”.

Nimyćko and the rest of the duet got help during the semi-finals from the trio of cellists „Mello M” who came specially from Latvia for the occasion. The girls of „Pop Ladies” prepared three, four hours a day for the performance with the Latvian trio and Deividas Zvonkus, music producer, wrote all night to make a well-known Lithuanian song „Kelelis tolimas” work for five voices.

Kristina Kazlauskaite, a member of the comittee was charmed by the performance: „We are used to the different performance of this song. I am pleasantly surprised by the arrangement and the pure performance.” the jurywoman commented on the performance.

The duet of  Rasa Stoskuviene and Eugenijus Andrulis got eliminated in the second semi-final. The second place and the ticket to the final went to the duet of Agneta Gabalyte and Rosita Civilyte and the duet of Jonas and Pop Ladies. The latter took first place after the votes of the comittee and the viewer were counted.

The four ‘duets’ will meet in the superfinal: Agneta and Rosita, Egidijus and Lina, Agne and Justinas and also Jonas and „Pop Ladies“.
