Tamošiūnaitė resigns

Edyta Tamošiūnaitė, the member of EAPL who was elected as the Vice-Minister of National Education, resigned from the post of the Deputy Director of Administration of the Vilnius Region self-government. According to the government representatives, Tamošiūnaitė handed in her resignation last Friday. 

The resignation is to be considered at the Board meeting on Thursday. Since 2011 Tamošiūnaitė has been acting as the Deputy Director of Administration.

Edyta Tamošiūnaitė was born in 1976. She graduated from the University of Educational Sciences and the Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius. She worked at the Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism in the Vilnius Region self-government. Than she was chosen the Deputy Director of Administration. After the elections in the fall, she was appointed the Vice-Minister of National Education.
