No millionaires in AWPL

AWPL faction is not among the richest parties in the Seim. None of the MPs has fortune exceeding one million Lithuanian litas. In total, the fortune of all MPs from AWPL amounts to 1,850,253 Lithuanian litas. By comparison, the leader of Labour Party (Darbo Partija) Wiktor Uspaskich declared to have more than 60 million litas.

According to the information provided in electoral platforms, which are available for all interested on The Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Lithuania’s (Vyriausioji rinkimų komisija) website, Jarosław Narkiewicz is the richest MP in AWPL. He declared to have 466,624 litas, from which the assets included in the register amount to 100,000 litas, whereas the remaining 366,624 litas are in cash.

Second and third place for Mackiewicz and Talmont

The second place is occupied by Michał Mackiewicz, an MP and the president of the Association of Poles in Lithuania. His fortune is estimated at 394,961 litas. His assets included in the register amount to 201,137 litas, whereas 55,824 litas are invested in securities, works of art and/or in jewellery. He has 138,000 litas in cash.

Leonard Talmont, the president of the Lithuanian Human Rights Committee, has fortune amounting to 268,335 litas. His assets are estimated at 178,335 litas. MP has 90,000 litas of deposited savings.

Women have less money

Wanda Krawczonok has 209,700 litas. 206,800 litas are invested in movable and immovable property. MP does not have any savings. The remaining 2900 litas are invested in securities, works of art and jewellery.

Rita Tamašiunienė, the starost of AWPL, takes the second place. Her fortune is estimated at less than 200,000 litas. She has 130,782 litas of assets and 66,429 litas in cash savings.

Irina Rozowa, Russian representative in AWPL, has 140,000 litas. 85,000 litas are the assets included in the register and 30,000 litas in cash. Razowa has taken out a 25,000 litas loan.

The next to last is Józef Kwiatkowski, who for many years has been the president of the Association of Polish teachers in Lithuania “Macierz szkolna“. His fortune is estimated at 97,622 litas. His assets amount to 55,622 litas, and 42,000 litas are in cash.

Zbigniew Jedziński is the poorest in the faction. His fortune is estimated at 75,800 litas, from which 23,000 litas are invested in movable and immovable property. He has 52,800 litas in cash.

Tomaszewski is the richest

Waldemar Tomaszewski resigned his parliamentary seat for the seat in the Europarliament. If he had not done that, he would be the richest MP in AWPL. His fortune is estimated at 718,756 litas. 173,400 litas is invested in movable and immovable property, and 545 356 litas is in cash.

If Zdzisław Palewicz, the mayor of the Šalčininkai district municipality, had not resigned his parliamentary seat, he would come in third place in AWPL. His declared fortune amounts to 327,450 litas. 192,450 litas are his assets included in the register, whereas 124,000 litas are his savings. The mayor has taken out a 11,000 litas loan.

PL DELFI reminds you that a parliamentary candidates declare only their own private assets. The fortune of the closest family is not included. More detailed declaration of income is submitted to the State Tax Inspectorate (Mokeščių inspekcija) at the end of the year.
