First place for Niemyćko

The dancing programme „Kviečių šokti“ (literally: “Feel invited to dance”), with the participation of Katarzyna Niemyćko, is coming to the end by seven-league steps. In the latest episode of the show there were seven duos who entered the stage to present their new dances, the theme of which was romance.

The episode began with incessant jokes about the future Minister of Culture. As we know, one of the members of the jury panel, Giedrius Drukteinis from Darbo partija (the Labour Party), was offered the position. Unfortunately, he was rejected by Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius.

Then the pairs went onto the stage. As the theme of romance leaves a lot of space for miscellaneous ideas, the duos presented a holiday romance, a hotel romance, and even a prison one.

Katarzyna Niemyćko and her partner Dainius Dimša danced a tango which illustrated a romance with a stranger in Buenos Aires. They got a standing ovation, but the omniscient panel noticed that a few acrobatic liftings did not come off. However, after some critical words, the duo received pretty good marks (37 points).

The extra member of the jury, director Vytenis Pauliukaitis, divided his points evenly among three pairs. Thus, Kristina Navickaitė-Tina and Tadas Rimgaila, Katarzyna Niemyćko and Dainius Dimša, and  Aušra Štukytė and Tomas Slausgalvis received two points. This was also the order in which the pairs were placed after the voting of the panel.

However, TV viewers put a spoke in Tina’s wheel. They gave the first place to Niemyćko, and only the second one to Tina.

General standings looked identical. Katarzyna Niemyćko and Dainius Dimša were first, the second place went to Kristina Navickaitė-Tina and Tadas Rimgaila, and the third one went to Aušra Štukytė and Tomas Slausgalvis.

Jurga Anusauskienė and Andrius Greblikas left the show forever, whereas Mantas Stonkus and Ala Karpenko jumped to the final train according to the wish of  the Internet voters.

The next episode of the show will be televised in two weeks’ time. Next Sunday LNK and “Maisto bankas“ invite you to watch a charity concert titled “Pasidalink” (“Share”).
