The Lithuanians penalized conservative government of Andrus Kubilus. The reasons of the penalty were : bad condition of the economy, high percentage of the unemployed, low wages and large group of emigrating people.

Victory of the left of  centre opposition have brought a careful change In diplomatic relations with Poland, said the experts. This situation gets harder with the fact of EAPL passed 5 percentage of  the threshold and might take a part in coalition.

EAPL  will hale its place In Lithuanian Parliament. The party passed the threshold, where it got of 5,7 % of advocacy in the elections. The biggest advocacy got the parties from the left of centre in yesterday’s elections.

On the basis of the parliament results from the elections in Lithuania, EAPL outpassed the 5% threshold. It was a historical event and a great success of the party because for the first time we got the votes in first-pass the post voting as well as in plurality voting system. We have brought representatives from a domestic list, announced EAPL.
