New communion building opened in Mickuny

The communion building in Mickuny

On the 2nd of October a new communion building was opened in Mickuny. The building where the new communion was set, used to be a school. The building has been thoroughly renovated. The investment cost over 670 thousand LTL.

In the communion building there will be a computer and conference room, reading room and a library. In the area of the communion building, there will be operating two groups of performers ‘Truskaweczka’ and ‘Skajsterowianka’. The group called ‘Truskaweczka’ has been operating for 20 years. The group includes people in the range from 8 to 22 years old. They have a wide history of performing abroad- for instance inPoland,GermanyorAustria.

The communion building is to be a place where the community of Mickun will have an opportunity to fulfill their projects both social and artistic.

The group ‘Skajsterowianka’ includes elderly people. They perform during various occasions in theVilniusarea.
